C87800 Silicon Bronze Sand Casting (CC212A sand casting) uses furan resin-bonded sand moulds for large and complex components. C87800 has excellent casting fluidity due to its zinc content, filling thin sections and complex geometries effectively. Component weights from 0.05 to 200+ kg. Tolerances CT7-CT9, surface finish Ra 6.3-12.5 um. Lead times 1-2 weeks. The high zinc content of C87800 improves mould filling compared to lower-zinc C87300 and C87600.

Most economical for large-volume standard C87800 hardware where tight as-cast tolerances are not required.
