CC330G Bronze Casting – EN 1982 CuAl9 | Equivalent to C95200 AB1 | BS 1400 AB1 | DIN CuAl9
CC330G is the European EN 1982 designation for CuAl9 aluminum bronze, the direct equivalent of C95200 (AB1) and BS 1400 AB1. It contains 8.5–9.5% aluminium and 2.5–4.0% iron, producing a corrosion-resistant alpha-beta microstructure suitable for general engineering, marine fittings, and electrical hardware. Applications
CC330G / CuAl9 castings are used for marine deck fittings, pump bodies, valve bodies, pipe flanges, electrical busbar connectors, earthing clamps, and cable gland housings in Zone 2 hazardous area applications. The alloy’s moderate strength (500 MPa) and good machinability (30% relative) make it cost-effective for medium-volume casting orders.
